Trip to Moab, Utah

The second week in July I got to drive with my family and our family friend to Moab. We spent 3 nights and 4 days in Utah. We got to camp in the desert and we did visit the city of Moab a couple times to get food. It was super fun! All the people that came were my Aunt Rosa, Uncle Todd, my cousins, Joseph and Daniel, and their friend Ethan who came from Florida to see them. The first night we arrived we set up the trailer and had smores over the fire. The first day, I got to learn how to ride a motorcycle which I had ridden when I was in 6th grade so it was a review. I learned how to ride a Honda motorcycle which was an automatic and that was my favorite. That day I also took a nice walk with my aunt Rosa. The second day Daniel and I tried to paddle board on the river but the current was very strong. The third day, Daniel did paddle-boarding with his friend Ethan on the river and (the second day) Dad went all the way down the river where we found a really nice spot to go swimming. Dad also went with Joseph down the river on the third day but they almost went way too far. After they paddle-boarded we swam. It was really fun. The last day was by far the coolest day we got to go see the Arches. The hike was three hours round trip but the view was worth it. My dad didn´t really take great pictures of me so I´ll have to go there again sometime. Overall, the trip was really enjoyable even if there was the occasional argument with the boys. It was really amazing and I´m glad I got to share the experience with some wonderful people! -Angelina
