On Sunday, June 30th, 2019 Angelina was part of the pride celebration at Highlands United Methodist Church. She arrived early to practice for singing and playing the girl puppet shown in the bottom left photo. Our Pastor, Rev. Brad Laurvick performed the voice of Kermit, and many other participants helped too. I know Brandon and Emily sang and they all performed the song, "Rainbow Connection" from the Muppet's. I found out that it is one of my Mom's favorite songs in the whole world. At both our church services everyone was awesome. Angelina and I also were part of the lighting of the Pride Candle, and that felt good too. What a special month we have had at HUMC! We miss you Ashley! -Mona & Angelina
At church last Sunday it was a lot of fun to sing in the chorus of the song Rainbow Connection I was the girl puppet with the cool hair and is purple. I flipped the hair a lot during the song because it was so cool. I am glad that I had the opportunity to do that and now I know the song! -Angelina
