Singapore Airport

We left Cairns, Australia in the evening of October 3, 2018 and arrived in Singapore close to midnight. We proceeded directly to our hotel, the Fragrance Ruby Hotel, which was great for an overnight layover. It was cheap, clean and quiet. The next morning we had planned to sight see around Singapore, but our cab driver cautioned us against it, saying that the traffic in the morning might catch us up, and we certainly did not want to miss our flight. So, we made the most of our time in SIN airport. We had a bit of breakfast at the Coffee Club and walked through the gardens (all real flowers). There are many duty free shops with designer labels and we had some fun looking at the over priced fashions from London there. Our favorite airline is now Silk Air, they have excellent service, and serve full meals on their flights, plus they offer complimentary beer and wine to passengers. I also like that they allow up to 30 kg of luggage for travel internationally and a carry on up to 7 kg (for free). We had a restful flight, and watched the movie, ¨Tag¨, which was funny. We have arrived in Thailand safely, and are adjusting to the humidity and heat. Our airbnb is really nice and safe, slept well.
