Yesterday, Angelina finished this adorable skirt she has been working on. It is so tailored to her figure and she even added her own pockets! This morning we got up and baked classic banana bread (which we shared with Lucas and Tim) and it turned out nicely. Thank you, Heather for the recipe that you gave me years ago when we lived in Boulder, it is good and moist. Then Angelina sewed these covers for our seat cushions and finished both within an hour or so. I am so impressed with her enthusiasm and ability to do all the hard stuff (zippers, buttons, pleats, interfacing, etc...) and she is having fun too! I just keep taking her to the fabric stores and Jorge bought her a book with a cd that has six basic patterns for mix and matching. She printed out a pattern at the library yesterday for drawstring purses. Thank you, Mom for sending fabric remnants from your projects to Angelina. I know she will put them to good use. Happy last week of vacation coming up! -Mona
