Seaside Paradise

August 31, 2019 we first experienced Fairlight and Manly, Australia. These seaside areas remind me of home in Pebble Beach, CA where I grew up. Friday was a rainy, cloudy day and I felt right at home. We walked from the airbnb to the esplanade along the beach, and also to the harbor side, Manly Wharf. There were an abundance of Cockatoos feeding and preening in the grass by the side of the walking path. The bird of paradise flower is for my Dad, who had a beautiful plant at home on our deck. Mom, there are beautiful flowers here similar to CA, so I included the orange and purple climbers for you! I also included a cafe named "Hemingway's" for Michael, as he embarks on his new readings. The hot chocolate and coffee were enjoyed at The Rosemary Cafe, Angelina said it was the best hot chocolate ever! It was a great first day, and we walked approximately 2.6 miles. G'day mateys!
