On Saturday, March 16, 2019 Angelina and I visited Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado and had a hike around. If you have not seen a concert here, it is a must do, and is one of the best concert venues in the world. I have a file of all the concerts I have seen at Red Rocks beginning in 1981 when I first moved to Boulder to attend CU until now. My Sister, Christina, and I have seen many concerts together and Red Rocks holds so many memories, two we shared were; the Eurythmics and Crosby, Stills and Nash. My most memorable was a full moon evening filled with the sounds of Manhattan Transfer, wow! I would venture to say that I have seen hundreds of concerts, but Angelina and I have shared Abba, the (Mama Mia Tour), Great Big Sea and U2 together, one at Red Rocks. I have found that Music unites us all, and is a universal language that we can all relate to on some level, even if it is not performed in our native language. There were many photos of bands I have followed and enjoyed over the years, but I couldn't find Tom Petty (who was one of my top songwriters). I did however find Glenn Miller for my parents, who have adored his big band Music throughout their lives. I recommend checking out the Colorado Music Hall of Fame at the top of the Amphitheater the history is interesting. I learned that originally the venue hosted opera singers and has moved with the times, but classical still lives, I have seen Sting with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Red Rocks in 2010. I highly recommend a concert, the Hall of Fame and brunch at the Ship Rock Grille. -Mona
I am really glad that we got to go to Red Rocks and be in the beautiful mountains it was nice to walk around, and look at all the Rock and Roll history. It certainly would be fun to go to a concert there again. -Angelina 💕😁
