Our Paris Home

Yesterday, January 17, 2019 we said goodbye to our home and hosts in Paris. We loved staying with the hospitable and friendly family from left to right; Clarissa, Antoine and Isabelle. They are both architects and Clarissa is a student with a focus in Economics. Their other daughter, Rosalie, is in Australia working in farming and is due to return after five months there on Monday. Isabelle is quite an accomplished potter and we were fortunate enough to use and view many of her creations. Antoine and Isabelle bought their home and expanded and remodeled it into this noteworthy home. I appreciated the natural wood used inside and out, the lofts in the bedrooms, the views from the windows and the front deck area. Isabelle is also into gardening, so I loved seeing and sniffing the white hyacinths when we first arrived. I spotted this knitting project on a chair in the living room and just thought that it was adorable, (the sweater). Each morning a lovely breakfast awaited us, and always hot tea, it was such a pleasure. We also liked having a pet, John Mi (short for John Michel) their goldfish to keep us company at the dining table. Antoine helped us so much from start to finish with train routes, French lessons and delightful conversation. It was so comfortable and safe here and that guaranteed a fun visit in Paris. We encouraged them to come and visit the states, particularly Colorado in the future. We really mean it! Thank you to you three for a delightful stay in your home, we will remember Paris and you fondly. -Mona

I really had a great time in this Airbnb, this was really homey and welcoming with such bright colors. I enjoyed it so much. Thank you to the family that gave us such a nice place to stay. -Angelina
