New Farm, Brisbane

On September 23, 2018 we rode the ferry to the New Farm area where there are parks, restaurants and a cinema. We wanted to see one of the other movie theaters redesigned by the Sourris brothers in a 1920´s motif. We watched the movie ¨Ladies In Black¨ and both of us loved the fashions set during the time period, 1949. Angelina was looking at fabrics online afterwards and enjoys imagining & drawing clothing designs. She found a fabric company called ¨Cotton and Steel¨ and we enjoyed looking at their fabric patterns. The night shots are of the Story Bridge at night. A double thumbs up for this theater, and the movie. We really love Australian cinema, and also recommend the movie, The Dressmaker.
