Miss America, North and South...

This tree was from my Abuelo´s finca (farm). I loved it the moment I saw it, so I decided to create a drawing of it. I made the drawing in Cariamanga, Ecuador and I did the painting in California. What I did to make the dots on the painting was that I took an end of a paintbrush that was smooth on the end of it and in the shape of a small circle. I dipped the end of the paintbrush into the paint and copied the dots from my drawing. It took a while but it was worth the satisfaction of finishing it. The painting I made is at my Grannie and Papa´s house, the actual tree is at my Abuelo´s farm, and my drawing is with me, so my family and I are all connected to this single Arupo tree.
