Les Halles in Avignon is an indoor farmers market with local produce, breads, sea foods, meats, spices, sweets, restaurants and wine merchants. The experience is rich with colors and aromas, we recommend it for a truly authentic grocery shopping experience. Next, we went to a Winter Wonderland in the square, Place de l´Horloge near our apartment adjacent to the ice skating rink. We revisited the sidewalk cafe with the yummy cookie and Angelina had a macaroon (chocolate & banana), great outing! -Mona
It was fun to visit a huge an there were ample amounts of everything you could ever need to eat! We bought some veggies, scallops, bread, and I enjoyed a little chocolate too. Then we walked to check on ice skating hours for another day and stopped by the little winter bubble with fake trees and reindeer! Of course we had to get a little snack at a good cafe and I tried my first macaroon. It was delicious! I loved seeing horses too! -Angelina
