Today, October 28, 2018, Angelina and I went island hopping with an exceptional company, Crystal Sea Marine and had the best snorkeling day ever! We were picked up at 7:20 AM and left from Royal Phuket Marina on a high speed boat to Phi Phi Don and saw the Monkey Beach, Macaques, went snorkeling in the most colorful reef we have seen on this trip. The coral, the plant life and the variety in fish species were spectacular. Then a buffet lunch was served, and I had Pad Thai, rice and a stir fry with chicken and vegetables, while Angelina relished some spaghetti marinara. All the food was very good they had lovely fruits to accompany the meal as well. We lived it up with White Chocolate Magnum ice cream bars afterward. We embarked once again and passed a Viking Cave, then went for a swim in the most gorgeous lagoon I have ever seen. The water was so translucent and the green flora contrasted with the turquoise water was stunning. Angelina did spot a few fish in the lagoon as we floated and swam. After that we headed Loh Samah Bay to snorkel again, it was more choppy with the waves in this area, but also beautiful. On the boat we then drove by Maya Bay Beach, where the movie called "The Beach" was filmed. The beach has never been closed before, but the tourism and boat pollution has damaged the reef, so it is closed indefinitely, so that it can rebuild. We were able to take pictures of it from the boat though, and finished up our day on Khai Island for a couple of hours. What a magnificent day we had, and I would not miss the Phi Phi Islands if I were you. Our host, Sunny helped us by setting up the tour booking & suggested it for us, thank you Sunny, we loved it! A must see if ever in Thailand, the snorkeling was out of this world! -Mona
Today was a spectacular day! I absolutely loved going snorkeling at the snorkel spots and seeing lots of pretty fishes. I had wanted to do this when we came to Phuket and I'm so glad we had the chance because it was really awesome to do this experience. It was fun to go on a speed boat it went really fast (you can tell by the name). We looked at the water and islands in the distance every time we went on the boat. The water at the lagoon was gorgeous, I've never seen anything that turquoise. The water temperature is pretty warm and perfect for snorkeling. I loved to see Maya beach even if we couldn't go on the beach. Phi Phi is a definite must see and this is the best snorkel trip I've been on. Every snorkel trip is great though!!! -Angelina
