Highlands' Art

Yesterday, March 12, 2019 when I was out and about walking our pooch, I sighted this wonderful home with a creative Art display, using reclaimed textiles. I also appreciated the arches atop this home. From all around the world arches are certainly eye catching, and these are no exception. I am fondly remembering the India arch in Delhi. In Athens, Hadrian's Arch, Avignon Bridge in Avignon, France and in Rome, the Arch of Constantine next to the Colosseum. I am intrigued by architecture and it certainly abounds the world over, colorful stones used in many places including the Duomo, (Florence, Italy) are echoed here with the green and red brick used in the second to the last photo. I have really enjoyed living in and getting to know this neighborhood better. -Mona
