Sunday, February 24, 2019 we celebrated our friend, Tim's birthday at the McCune's home in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Known as "Roost Farms" we had the grand tour and yummy brunch, not to mention catching up and conversation. Tim enjoyed his birthday celebration and gifts too. Liz and Chris have turned this place into an urban farm, an airbnb and a Summer day camp for kids. There are chickens, goats, honey bees, homemade bread and home grown veggies and fruits. Our former neighbors hosted weekly BBQ/potluck dinners all Summer long and really brought our neighborhood together. We were delighted to visit with them again, and to see their four kids; Annabelle, Samuel, Isaac and Molly. How mature and grown they all are. Shamus, their dog, joined in the picture and the party (he is so adorable). We wish Tim a wonderful year ahead, and look forward to June when we really will be back home again. He said that our home caretakers have done a fantastic job, and we agree. Thank you to the McCune's for having us over, we had an enjoyable visit. -Mona
