Epic Bike Ride

Writer's picture: mnjsalsamnjsalsa

The day after the 4th of July, Angelina and I decided to ride bikes despite the rainy weather. We rode 16.8 miles from home through LoHi to the Cherry Creek bike path with our final destination being "Whole Foods" in Cherry Creek. I often refer to it as "Whole Paycheck" for obvious reasons, but love their selection & quality of products. Anyway, I love birds, and we spotted an Egret and a female Mallard with her babies, so cute. It was an epic ride, and we read books the following day to recoup. Colorado is wonderful in the summer for any outdoor sport. -Mona

Our bike ride along Cherry Creek was very fun, before we went all the way down to the Cherry Creek Path we discovered my back tire wasn't screwed in right so we walked a pretty long way to get to our bike shop to fix it, I am very glad we did because now I have a smooth ride. That also is in addition to all the miles we biked! I love Whole foods now, I only remember going there with Mom once when I was little but Mom said we went there a lot. I hope to go there again to try their Macaroni and Cheese plus having more Mochi. I love the Mochi that I got this time, I got Red Velvet and Mango. Yum, and the soup was pretty good too. I would bike ride down to Cherry Creek just for the food! -Angelina🍝🍞🍕🍪
