On Friday July 12, 2019 my Dad, my Aunt Bachi, my Uncle Pedro, and I all started driving to Durango. We rented a Chevy at 9 o´clock ish and got on the road at 11:00. Dad told me to be ready at 5:30 in the morning but looking back on how tired I was and still I am regreting waking up at that hour. I guess it was worth it because we were able to find a rental car in that time. We drove for 3 hours straight, had lunch and then drove for another 3 hours. I was so happy when we arrived at our Airbnb in Vallecito, the views were so beautiful. The second to last picture is of a lake close to our Airbnb. I remember being so grateful that we got to our house and could discover the area. It was around 6:30 when we got to our Airbnb. Once we dropped all of our stuff at the Airbnb we went on the 45 minute drive to Durango to get something to eat. I was really happy to be reunited with Durango again after 6 years. My Mom and I passed through Durango on our road trip when I was 8. I didn´t remember much about Durango so it was nice to get a refresher. We ate at a restaurant called Tequilas and I had a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. It was a pretty late night and I was nervous on the road driving back to our cabin in Vallecito but we made it there safely and I had a really nice sleep. I am so grateful that Dad has taken his vacation to take a really nice trip with me and it was really cool that my Aunt and Uncle went with us.
