Denver Botanic Gardens

Oh, what a beautiful summer day! We spent one of the last days of Angelina's vacation at the gardens, it was at the height of blooming on July 29, 2021. There was a wedding taking place in the greenhouse (my favorite part) so we did not linger there. During the holiday season the greenhouse is filled with white light and is so welcoming and festive. The newly remodeled building housed the exhibitions of Yoshitomo Saito and Salvador Dali. I had never seen the botanic illustrations of Dali's before, the flamboyant colors and florals were abundant in this collection. We each picked one favorite out. Breakfast at Lucile's started the outing on a yummy note. Summer in Colorado is definitely hard to beat. -Mona
