La Spezia, Italy. First day, we arrived by train around noon and began walking around this city that appears to have it all. There are mountains, waves, boats and palm trees, who could ask for more in the middle of December? We ate outside at a seaside cafe and then walked along the port looking at all the boats. We found some with fun names and thought we would share ...I love sailboats, but the huge yachts were pretty nice as well. So far my impression is that it is a gorgeous place to be, not too crowded and not chaotic, very calming. Grounded with less hype and fewer tourists (oops, that´s me). -Mona
I am so excited to be here! Ever since I heard about Cinque Terre when I was in fifth grade I always wanted to come. So far La Spezia is a really cool place and has good vibes. I am happy to see Cinque Terre and discover more amazing things here in La Spezia.-Angelina

Missing you... good to see you in person yesterday on the phone. sorry I was in a rush to get stuff done. The play Annie was wonderful! Lots of families with their little children dressed up for Christmas season. Super fun to see them! A your boy of about 10 won the raffle, went up to spin the doohickey and won $50.00. That was awesome!
