Today, January 4, 2019 Angelina and I were walking to the Park of the Golden Head, and took a detour to go to a Starbucks. We discovered the Opera House and the City Hall in a square with three modern sculptures. We were so happy to have a treat out at a familiar locale, the last time was in the Paris airport. Angelina admired this old building with the golden shingles as a color statement. I knew my Dad would like the Fuchsias, as he always had them in our home in Pebble Beach hanging from the eaves in wooden pots. Winter blooms, wow! -Mona
The Opera House has a really cool exterior and statues at the top. We went inside and looked at the schedule for the Opera, shows, and dance performances but found none for the dates we are here. It was still cool to see it though. I am happy to have had my hot chocolate from Starbucks and I found the weirdest cupcake ever, with popcorn and toffee! -Angelina
