Today on January 31, 2019 Mom and I took a last walk along the sea wall of Saint Malo and gave our goodbye's to the sea. I loved our time here it was very relaxing and joyful. Every place is so unique and special to me. I would definitely revisit this charming place and maybe even in the summer to be able to see how it's hotter and to swim in the sea pool! -Angelina

We have been here in France for forty days tomorrow and are leaving this super cool country! I now understand how our friend, Rebecca, left California, moved to Paris and still has not moved back to the states, more than twenty years ago. (Sorry, I do not remember the exact number). I have thoroughly immersed us both in the country and have felt at home here. The four places we have stayed; Avignon, Lyon, Paris and Saint-Malo all have different appealing aspects about them. I feel that I could live in any four of the places we visited, but being a beach girl, I choose Saint-Malo. So, if I win a lottery, I will have a home inside the walls (Intra-Muros) of St. Malo. It was 39 degrees and raining today, but that is no surprise, as we have been chasing Winter most of our trip.

I shared with Angelina that I appreciate France for many reasons, but the Art and Architecture here are phenomenal. I also enjoyed the countryside, especially here in the Brittany area. The number one reason to love France is World Cup Soccer! Just kidding...I am quite fond of the people here, they are not fussy and live normal, laid back lives. I know friends who would say, "What about the wine, bread and cheese too?" and I agree. There are so many things to love about France, like the Eiffel Tower. That is Angelina's favorite part. I have too many favorites to pick at this point!-Mona
