On December 8, 2018 Angelina and I had walked for four hours all over Naples and were very hungry, and right when I had almost decided to give up looking for a pasta place open before 5:30 PM, we found this wonderful place. Cala La Pasta is located in the historic part of Naples (near our airbnb) and has great prices, delicious, fresh and healthy food. I tried the pasta with olive oil, walnuts and cheese while Angelina had pasta made out of potatoes with cheese. The bread was homemade and tasty too. This family owned and run restaurant has very reasonable prices and makes to go orders largely, but we ate in and visited with the friendly people. These two are Danillo and Veronica (she is from Chile) and this fantastic place opened just two short months ago, we recommend with pleasure their restaurant. We already referred another Mom and Daughter duo when we got back to our place, and they loved it too!

Today is the daythat you go on to Florence-we hope you love the city as much as we do-we could live there. Naples looks like a great place-we have never been there. And now we know that you will be in Avignon for christmas-we are glad of that as Paris is having a horrendous time with ,any protesters and burning cars etc. Hopefully it will all have calmed down by the time you get thre!
