September 11, 2018, we continued riding bikes along the sea path in Casuarina. There are beautiful sculptures between the path and the homes, featured here are; the mermaid with emus, a metal horse and a metal sphere. Yesterday, I spent the day creating a chart with Australian birds and reached seven identifications. I will send the chart to Dad and Christina, as it will not fit here. Angelina studied Math all day while I borrowed a bird book from our host and studied birds. The three birds here are; Beach Stone-Curlew aka (Beach Thick-knee), the Australian Pelican and the Banded Lapwing or Black-breasted Plover. I really could spend many hours watching and recording bird life, as they are abundant everywhere. I particularly love the bird songs, they are so unique.
Angelina-I really like going biking along the path, and seeing so many cool birds. They are different than those in Colorado. It is nice to have bikes and be able to be free.
