Today was a travel day, and we had to say goodbye to Alexandra and the Green Island of Skopelos. Our stay at Pension Kir Sotos was exceptional, we had to show the courtyard, the living room and study or office area, our beloved room with three windows looking over the harbor and the view from the top porch area. Our hostess, Alexandra with Angelina, will be our lifelong friend and we hope to host her in Colorado one day. We also hope to return one day to this special island home. We all walked to the ferry and embarked for the near island of Skiathos, saying goodbye (antio sas) to our new friend and the Emerald Isle. The ferry was the largest we have ever been on (it also carries cars) and we took a shot of the inside of one of the decks (there were three) and caught a lighthouse while leaving. We have arrived at our new home, and will begin exploring tomorrow! -Mona
I am so sad that we had to leave our friend Alexandra in Skopelos but I am very excited to be in Skiathos. We had a wonderful time in Skopelos and there are many great times ahead! We will come back to this awesome island someday. -Angelina
How wonderful you have made a lifelong friend of Alexandra. I hope to meet her and see her family's place -the ancient one her brother or cousin owns and fixed up. That looked really beautiful. I am so glad you are having a great experience. Love, Chrissy p.s. we had a very nice get-together at the folk's house for Thanksgiving last evening. And the morning into afternoon visit from our kids and grands was really nice too. I am so lucky to have such wonderful step-kids. They are very kind and thoughtful towards me and I sure appreciate it. Tami got a job in Human Resource at the Port Authority in San Diego. She has been at it for 2…
