While driving across our fine country, I had time to reflect while listening to music, podcasts, the news and my daughter. I was fortunate to have been gone for several months during 2018-2019 traveling to other countries. I was glad to return, as freedom is of the utmost importance to me. We learned and experienced so many wonderful moments together and the people were the determining factors in our memories of places we visited.
America is in crisis with the rest of the world, but our potential to learn and grow from experience is happening. Many people are reaching out to help one another, and that caring and love is paramount to our ability to absolve our world of disaster. I took the picture of McDonald's to capture our middle America, symbolized by affordable, fast food. We need to rethink how we sustain our people and our food sources. Right now many people are starving and waiting in food lines that are miles long. When I was young I read a book called, "Diet For A Small Planet" and it left an impression on me. If we could listen and learn from our information and other countries, we may follow different paths in our quest to provide food for our people. More farm land and less concrete.
I suggest we vote for an individual with values and morals, someone with integrity. A person to focus on all the issues at hand (and there are so many) and to actually accomplish something positive rather than destructive. -Mona
