Aloha Hawaii, we wished that we could stay for awhile, but a two hour layover had to do it. I have been to the airport on four previous trips in my life. Thank you Mom and Dad for the summer in Aina Hina, it was magical. Katrina can attest to that marvelous summer, so I did get a bit misty eyed as I walked through the airport remembering our times there together. Angelina and I explored the airport as much as we could in our short time. Pictured here is the Chinese Oriental Garden, with coy, flora and fauna, birds and us! I did recognize the Plumeria tree, (above with white and yellow flowers), we had two in our backyard that summer, and we strung some leis from those, the scent is sweet and succulent. The pagoda here was quite detailed in design. Well, on to the "Land Down Under!" It was good to see Hawaii again, we will be back another time, as I love it there! Pray for the people in Hawaii, they have had a hard time of it lately and mother nature needs to take a break! Aloha...
